CounselOS is a comprehensive Legal Practice Management System built for Advocates, Barristers, Legal Consultants, and Law Chambers. Users can view full product information, privacy disclosures, and terms of service on this home page without logging in. Core platform modules include:

• Case & FIR Management: Organize Civil, Criminal, Family, Customs, Tax, and Constitutional cases by Master Serial ID with court judge headers and party records.
• Hearing Diaries & Daily Cause Lists: Track past court proceedings, upcoming hearing dates, preparation tasks, and 7:00 AM daily hearing alerts.
• Legal Drafting & Official Lawyer Letterhead: Generate court petitions, bail applications, Vakalatnama, NOCs, client fee invoices, and payment receipts on official lawyer letterhead.
• AI Legal Research & Nationwide Law Books: Search statutory law books, Supreme Court and High Court precedents, and analyze case files with AI assistance.
• Office Accounting & Encrypted Document Vault: Manage client fee ledgers, chamber expenses, role-based Assistant sub-user IDs, camera PDF scans, and local JSON/ZIP backups.

1. Information We Collect: When you sign in using Google Authentication, CounselOS collects only your basic Google profile information (Full Name, Email Address, and Profile Picture via standard openid, email, and profile scopes) to authenticate your Advocate Account. We also store the legal case metadata, client records, financial ledger entries, and documents that you voluntarily enter into your chamber portal.

2. How We Use Google User Data: CounselOS complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. Your Google email and basic profile are used solely for account authentication and populating your lawyer letterhead. CounselOS does not request access to private Gmail messages or Google Drive files during sign-in.

3. Data Storage & Security: All records are protected via HTTPS/TLS encryption and stored in isolated per-chamber accounts on Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore).

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or legal chamber data to any third parties or advertisers.

5. Data Retention & Deletion Rights: Users can export their full chamber archive as JSON/ZIP or permanently delete all chamber data at any time using the built-in Factory Reset tool or by emailing counselos.net@gmail.com.

• Mandatory Data Backups: Users must maintain their own regular external backups of all cases, client data, financial records, and documents on their own computer or device. CounselOS and its developers are not responsible or liable for any data loss.
• Verify Auto-Generated Documents: Users must thoroughly check, verify, and proofread all auto-generated legal drafts, petitions, invoices, and receipts before use. CounselOS is not liable for any errors or inaccuracies in generated documents.
• Strict Non-Refundable Subscriptions: All subscription fees and payments once paid are final and strictly non-refundable.
• AI & Technical Disclaimer: As an AI-assisted software application, AI can make mistakes and all legal outputs must be independently verified by the Advocate. If any technical issue occurs in the app, our engineering team will work to resolve it as quickly as possible.
